I realize that this blog is kind of dead and that this has nothing to do with the original premise of it, but if anyone is trans* and an author (or cis and writing about trans people), you should check out this website.
A community art project. Transsexual and transgendered people tend to get caught up in things they don't like about their body, so I thought I'd encourage us to shift the focus. Submit a picture or statement explaining something you love about your body. It could be something you love that it can do physically, something intrinsic to it or something that you've changed (through hormones or surgery or not). Really anything is fair game if it gives you self-confidence. It can be something small and doesn't have to be rooted in masculinity or femininity.
Nothing transphobic, homophobic or otherwise hateful will be accepted. Nudity is fine, but pornography for pornography's sake is not. I request that no cis people submit.

I used to hate my belly hair when I was growing up. Now, it’s one of the only things that I honestly love about my body.

I have always felt good about my calves; they have never disappointed me. I love the hair on my legs and the shape of my muscles.
